As part of the FAA National Drone Awareness Week the King County UAS team is hosting an informational discussion to promote public awareness and education on drone flights.

Our volunteers use drones for search and rescue missions in the many wilderness areas here, and actively promote safe drone operations and flight safety in King County Search and Rescue operations.

Join us in this 60 minute session we’ll talk about how we use them and why they are a great tool which helps increase our safety and improves the effectiveness of our searches in wilderness areas.
